Bob loved to spend time with family and friends; he especially enjoyed spending time with his grandchildren and many great-nephews and nieces. He loved spending time on Cape Cod (New Silver Beach). He was an avid golfer and served as treasurer for his Tuesday Night golf league for many years.

Bob was preceded in death by his beloved wife, Barbara Ellen (Blais) Hamilton, his in-laws, William "Bill" and Madelyn Blais, his parents, John "Harry" Harrison Hamilton and Viva (Thayer) Hamilton, his 4 brothers, John, Richard, Clyde and Chester, and his 2 sisters, Pauline Gould and Lorraine Perewicz. Judy Donohue has informed us that our Classmate Barbara (Latham) Cardoza passed on... Her Obituary follows:

EASTON----Barbara C. (Latham) Cardoza, 77, of Easton, passed away on Friday, November 8, 2019 after a brief illness. Born and raised in Brockton, a daughter of the late Artemas and Frances (Bertelsen) Latham, she was a 1960 graduate of Brockton High School.

Barbara was employed as a customer service representative for Concord Foods for over 30 years. Barbara enjoyed traveling, going to the casino, and bingo. Her famous shortcuts always took way longer to get there and earned her the nickname "Backroads Barb". Her sense of adventure took her to many interesting places. She would happily drive 8 hours and "make a trip of it" to see her favorite band. She prided herself on knowing which Dunkin Donuts were the best to go to for the freshest coffee rolls/muffins. Barbara enjoyed going with the flow, wherever that may take her.

She was full of contradictions, as evidenced by her DVR list which was alternating Hallmark holiday movies and murder mysteries. Saturdays were always one of her favorite days because she would spend time with her children, grandchildren and great grandchildren going out shopping and treating everyone to lunch and Friendly's for ice cream.

Barbara is survived by a son, David Nye and his fiancé Maryjane Sirois of Middleboro, daughters Sally Wilson and her husband Steve of Swansea and Sheri Mortimore and her husband Jeremy of Easton; a sister, Linda Latham of Plymouth; her brother, Lee Latham and wife Eileen of North Woodstock, NH., and her brother, the late Robert Latham; three grandchildren, Mark Wilson, Scott Wilson and Colin Daly; as well as her nieces and nephews . Barbara was also Gigi to three great grandchildren; Brayton, Jason and Jordan.

Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend visiting hours on Saturday, November 16 from 1-3 p.m. followed by a memorial service at 3:00 p.m. in Kane Funeral Home & Cremation Services, 605 Washington Street (Rte.138) in Easton. In lieu of flowers donations in Barbara's memory may be made to The Esophageal Cancer Awareness Association www.ecaware.org/give/donate/.
